Background
With the rapid development of network and intelligent, the industrial structure is changing, the impact of Industry-4.0 has been reflected in the manufacturing industry, the production enterprises will face more and more challenges. Network is based on platform to meet the requirements of energy management and control, data acquisition and industrial video surveillance and other needs.

Scheme introduction
This scheme is divided into access layer and convergence layer processing.
Access layer: A total of 7 production lines, central automation control production, to achieve full intelligence. Multiple network devices are connected to each production line. In order to ensure the smooth data and the development of the future, the video monitoring scheme of this scheme adopts SW-Ring Gigabit redundant ring network topology. Industrial Ethernet switches IES7120-4GS are used to form a Gigabit redundant ring network, and set aside 2 Gigabit interface standby, other devices can access the network through switch‘s Fast Ethernet interface .
Convergence layer: Core switch IES5128-4GS and the host computer will be uploaded to the data transmission to the sub system server. Seven sub network nodes switch IES7120-4GS and core switches IES5128-4GS to form a Gigabit redundant ring network, improve the reliability of the network.

The switch uses industrial grade design, no fan, low power consumption, support for -40~75℃ working temperature, metal shell, IP40 protection class.
Redundant Gigabit ring network guarantees the stability of network communication, that Gigabit bandwidth makes data transmission more fast and smooth.
