China, Shenzhen, Oct. 25, 2018 - Yesterday, the Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macao Bridge (HZMB) was officially put into use. It is a bridge–tunnel system consisting of a series of three cable-stayed bridges and one undersea tunnel, as well as two artificial islands. It spans the Lingding & Jiuzhou channels, which connects Hong Kong with Macau and Zhuhai, three major cities on the Pearl River Delta. It is the longest fixed link over water in the world, it’s a new a wonder of the world!
